We're Sean and Jade, and we're not travel bloggers who quit their jobs to "find themselves" on a beach. We didn't quit anything. We both have full-time careers, a mortgage and — critically — no kids to build a trip around. That last part is the whole premise. DINKS: Double Income, No Kids. We figured out early on that this particular combination of circumstances is basically a cheat code for travel, and we've been using it properly ever since.

Six continents. 36 countries. Four wonders of the world down, three to go. Two passports that are permanently one stamp away from needing extra pages. We're not saying this to boast — we're saying it because it's proof that you don't need a gap year, a trust fund, or an influencer's schedule to see an absurd amount of the world. You need annual leave, a decent points strategy, and the willingness to actually use both properly.

This started the way most good things do — slightly by accident. A few big trips turned into a habit, the habit turned into a shared spreadsheet of bucket list places, and at some point we realised we'd built up more useful, hard-won knowledge about actually doing this well — the flights worth paying extra for, the private safari that ruins you for self-drive game reserves forever, the itinerary mistakes we'd never repeat — than we knew what to do with. So we started writing it down. That's this site.

We're not chasing sponsored stays or pretending every hotel is the best one we've ever had. If something wasn't worth the money, we'll tell you. If we changed our own plans halfway through a trip because it wasn't working, we'll tell you that too — ask us about the time we abandoned an entire Japanese city and got the bullet train home early. We'd rather you trust every word on this site than impress you with a highlight reel.

What you'll find here: real trip reports from the places we've actually been, honest breakdowns of what we'd do differently, and — because two people paying for their own flights care about this a great deal — a growing Points & Miles section on how we get some of it back. Long-haul upgrades, hotel status, the occasional business class flight that felt borderline illegal for the price. All of it real, all of it ours.

The goal is simple: three more wonders, the seventh continent, and as many of the world's ridiculous, beautiful, occasionally humbling corners as two working professionals can reasonably fit around annual leave.
